Pool Time, Easter and More

Pool time is officially here!
The older two kids have swam several times already. We'll heat it up next weekend so the rest of us can join them too.

Mimi had an early Easter gift for the kids this week.
The new fairy Barbie
THOMAS stuff!!!!
Kinsley didn't know the new Barbie movie had come out yet.
She was some kind of happy to find it in her Easter bag.
Hadley checking out her loot.
Yesterday afternoon we had pictures with a great area photographer.
I always like to snap a few pics before we go and good thing I did.
It did not go well. The two little ones were not into it. I am hoping that she got one good shot out of all them.

Since Kinsley did do good on her pictures, she got a treat. She's been begging to go to Target to use a gift card she had. Since I normally do my Target run when she's at school, she rarely gets to go. Yesterday her and I made a special trip there. She bought 2 Hello Kitty Text Messengers, I kid you not. Now she can text. Wonderful.

Actually it's sweet, she texted I Love You to me at bedtime tonight.

Texting at the table. A mother's dream.

Today one of Kinsley's friends had an outdoor spa party. Since I'm good friends with the mom, I stayed and helped do nails, make bath salts and glitter lotion, and take pictures. I have to say it was one of the best planned parties I have ever been to. Since I'm a little weird about putting other kids pictures on my blog without their parents permission, here's just a few from the party.

Colby got to come and play with Ellie's little brother.
Doesn't he look thrilled to be a the Ooh La La Spa?
Kinsley with her oatmeal face mask.
Such a cute nontraditional cake idea.
It was a rice crispy layer "cake."
Colby also had soccer practice today.
K at the fields.

I've been playing around with Picnik photo editing in all my extra free time.
Ha, free time, that was funny.
Anyway, here's one I edited tonight.

The kiddos looked so cute dressed for their pics. Hopefully the "real" photographer got a few good ones :) If not, we may have to dress them up again and try again with our fancy cameras.lol
