My Kids

are so stinking cute! Somedays I just want to eat them up! Here is a picture of them watching the 1st 30 minutes of Old Yeller. I just couldn't make myself let them watch the whole thing. So if you talk to Kinsley, the movie ends when Old Yeller fights the bear.

I'm so in love with Colby's new haircut!

After playing outside what better way to relax than with some RitzBits on the couch.

Lots of Pictures

It has been a great week here in the Brennan household. The weather has been perfect and we have had lots to do. Kinsley finished the last of her swimming lessons this week. Justin came home this weekend...yea! We went to K's first t-ball game of the season yesterday and then headed to Springfest for some yummy ribs and fun rides. Here are some pictures from this week.

Funny story about this. Kinsley was working this puzzle before bed one night. When she finished, she asked me not to put it up because she was convinced that the princesses would come to life overnight. So I left it on the table the whole night. She was only a little disappointed in the morning.

Colby's new trick this week: climbing up in our pub-style chairs. Here he is reading a Baby Talk magazine.
Colby showing me his pink eye. Yes, he caught it too.
Kinsley had ice cream sundae day at school this week, and we had the perfect outfit for it!

More sickness, PJ's, and the Terrible 2's

This week kind of went by as a blur while JB was working in "the big city." After Kinsley's Easter pink eye, I took her back to the doctor and found out she had an ear infection and a nasty cough. So then she gave that hacking cough to me. Colby has been the only one not to succumb to our germs. Maybe it's his diet of saltines and Sunny D. Who knew?

Kinsley was well enough to make it to school on Thursday for Pizza, PJ, and Popcorn day (can you guess what letter they have been studying?). She also went to swimming lessons and is totally rocking. I am shocked at how much she has learned in such a little time.

On Friday, my mom and I went to the Holly Springs Annual Pilgrimage and toured all the beautiful homes (pics to soon follow). It was a gorgeous day and I loved seeing all the old homes and hearing about their past. It was also nice to get to hang out with my mom without being interrupted every 30 seconds by, "Hey Mimi can we..."

On a sad note, my sweet, sweet little Colby has hit the terrible two's. He's only 20 months, but what can I say he's advanced. He's still sweet and cuddly but now can throw a temper tantrum that rivals only his big sister's. Pray for us all.

It's Finally Official

We're moving to Texas! After months and months of waiting, negotiating, waiting some more, Justin finally signed the papers today for the transfer/promotion to a new territory in Texas. While we are really sad to leave our wonderful family and friends, Justin and I both feel that in the current economy and time in our lives that this is where God is leading us to go. Now we are in the midst of all the chaos that goes into moving.  Let the craziness begin. Oh and by the way, I know absolutely nothing about the great state of Texas except questionable attire of the locals i.e. belt buckles and cowboy hats. The boots are okay. Pray you never see me in Wranglers.

Happy Easter!

So our Easter weekend didn't quite go as planned. Friday night Justin and I went to a special event at our church called "A Walk with the Word." It's the 2nd year we've gone and is a very powerful and moving account of Jesus' last words.  When we go to pick up the kids at Mimi's, Kinsley's eye is red and swollen. Saturday morning her eye is worse. I take her to the doctor and the diagnosis is pink eye and a cold. Gross. We miss the church egg hunt but we have our own in the backyard since it was such a beautiful day. On Easter Sunday the boys head to church in their finest and the girls stay home.  Boo.

Colby was more into playing ball.
Apparently he gets that from his dad.
