First Houston Zoo Trip and More

Last Friday was absolutely gorgeous here and luckily we had planned an outing to the zoo with friends. We all enjoyed the trip. The kids looked at the animals, rode the carousel, had a picnic, and went on a train ride. We were there with 3 other 4 year olds and 2 other 2 year olds so there weren't too many pictures that worth anything.

Checking out the animals

Now this is a longhorn!
(or a hook 'em horn as the kids call them)

Riding the carousel

Riding the train (the only thing Colby cared at all about doing).
Blurry picture but a totally typical site at our house.
Justin was doing some fairly extensive updating this weekend---pics of that to come.
Here is Justin junior working on the blinds.
I bought my first King Cake the other day. I'm pretty sure I can blame the bakery impulse buy on my pregnancy hormones. I had never had one before so I figured it would be either really good or really bad. Score!!! It was raspberry filled and the bomb!

I can't believe it was warm enough to go sleeveless...so jealous!! You know you can find those cows at FarmLinks as well! Anytime you want to come visit, we can make it feel like you're right at home! :)

BTW...cannot believe you've never bought a kings cake! The ones at Hope's Cheesecake in GS were fabulous!!!
