Christmas Adventures

We have had a busy month around here (just like everyone else I'm sure). I still haven't downloaded my pictures but luckily Mimi has been around a lot and we all know she takes tons of pictures. This is what we've been up to...

Modeling Mom's boots

Mimi came and stayed a whole week with us while Justin was out of town.
Without her it is questionable if I would have survived.

Kinsley had her big performance for theater class.
She was Chicken #2 in the Great Manger Mystery and she did fabulous. I'm not saying it because I'm the mom either. She was great!

All the chickens checking the roost.

We are so proud of her!

Meet my burly husband.

The younger kids were pumped that they had snacks.

Some of Kinsley's work through the semester.
Here is her sketch and stage makeup for Weather Girl.

Her wonderful, wonderful teacher Ms. Jen.

Mimi gave her a Nutcracker for doing such a great job and to hopefully start a collection.

This child is crazy.
And after spending a week with us, I think my mom finally believes me.

I've said it before, but thank goodness she is so cute.

We've had some great weather so we were able to go to the "train park."

She may love her blanket more than her sister.

Colby looks so mad here, but he is rocking his much needed haircut.

Playing peek a boo together.

One morning we found Ginger Boy trying to zip line over the breakfast table.

We also had a gingerbread house decorating competition.

Kinsley absolutely adores Hadley.

Modeling her new hat from Mimi on her way to ride the Christmas train with Anderson.

Colby passed up the chance to ride the train (shocker) to go to the Christmas parade with the rest of us.

Waiting on the parade.

Hadley thought she should be in the parade.

Pirate float

Some sweet man threw Hadley a stuffed Santa at the parade.

On a sugar high from all the parade candy.

Our finished gingerbread village.
At least Ginger Boy liked it.

Santa came through our neighborhood on a fire truck!

 And threw LOTS of candy.

We also managed to squeeze a trip to Nashville in too.
Checking out the fish at Bass Pro.

If you've met my husband, you will know why he thought this was so cool.
  At the Opryland Hotel.

So this is our Santa picture this year.
I love it.

 My wonderful parents.

Waiting to go see the Christmas lights.
The countdown is on....
Have a very Merry Christmas!!!!
