Lots and Lots of Doctors and Cheese Puffs

So the past few days have been a little wild around here (of course, when are they not?). Today Colby went for his 15 month check up. He weighs 24.9 lbs and is 31 inches long. The doctor his growth is great. He also got 4 shots :( and they really tuckered the little guy out.

On Tuesday night, I started have chest pains that progressively got worse and also shortness of breath. Justin took me to the doctor yesterday morning and they immediately sent us to the ER. (First they asked me if I wanted an ambulance to take me..uh no!). Within minutes of arriving in the ER, they were doing chest x-rays, EKG's, blood work, you name it. When poor Justin got to the room, I had wires hanging out from everywhere and I think it freaked him out a little. After 5 hours of being there, everything major checked out fine. I just had an inflamed chest wall but I got medication for it and just need to take it easy. Funny after thought: This morning I'm reading the papers from the hospital. My "condition" was caused from emotional stress (they didn't tell me that at the hospital). Okay, I can see that. Next thing I read is about my medication. One of the side effects: rapid weight gain! Now that could cause me some extreme emotional stress!

On a lighter note, the kids spent the night with my parents last night. Thanks again Mom and Dad! Anyway, Kinsley always sleeps in my parents' bed in between them and apparently squishes Pops. This is the conversation that took place this morning as told to me by Mimi.
Kinsley: Good morning Pops! Did I squish you last night?
Pops: No, you didn't. I slept good last night.
Mimi: That's because Kinsley squished me last night. I feel like a pretzel this morning!
Kinsley: Well I feel like a Cheese Puff!

Okay Crazy! Are you feeling better? You need to give me a call and fill me in on your scary experience at the hospital. Yikes!

Well we need to take a weekend and help you through the "emotional stress"! Maybe a day at the spa would help you:) The cheese puff coment is so funny! I love when the kids say cute stuff.
