It's Gettin' Hot in Here

It has been insanely hot here lately. If we aren't swimming at Mimi's or the Baker's, then we have to play inside. Even though my camera is acting crazy, I managed to get a few pictures of the kids this week.

Oh and a house update! We have a contract on our MS house...hopefully everything goes through!

We are Back!

After a wonderful and relaxing week at the beach, we are back home. We had so much fun hanging out with my entire family and getting some good bonding time in. My camera kicked the bucket early in the week so I only have a few pictures. Luckily Mimi was there to capture those Kodak moments so there will be more to come. Here are the few I got.

We Have a Contract!

Finally after offers on 3 different houses and long drives to see houses that were already sold, we have a contract on a house! Mind you, I haven't actually seen the house in person, but Justin likes it and I trust him. Short of a double oven, it has everything that was on our wish list. I am pumped!

Working Hard

On my "to do" list for getting ready for the beach was cleaning all the sand toys. This morning I thought I would take advantage of the free labor around my house. I filled up 2 buckets of water, handed the kids some rags, and let them go to work.

I think Colby bathed himself instead of the toys.

London helped too.

Since I'm not a total slave driver, I let the kids play this afternoon.

Bowling, Texas, and a Reunion

Here are some pictures from what has been going on recently. We took the kids bowling again and again Kinsley and Justin beat me. I'm thinking about requesting the bumpers for me the next time we go.

This just blew my mind. While in Texas, I was getting my weekly Target fix and found that they sell wine. Not only that, but they put it on clearance too!

My Fish

Lauren and Anderson came this weekend and we had so much fun! Leslie so graciously let us all have a sleepover at her house. It was like we were in college again except for all the kids. We had five kids under the age of 5 but it was surprisingly easy. I can't wait for all of us to get together again, be it a cruise or another slumber party!

We are always in the car...

It's been slightly crazy for the Brennan family lately. After a little insanity at the airport, Justin missed his flight to Texas. Instead of paying a ridiculous amount for another ticket, we decided to drive Justin to Texas. We have been exploring our soon to be new city. I don't have my camera cord to download pictures (we left in a bit of a rush) so pictures will have to come later. The kids have been swimming lots and are becoming little fish which is great since we will soon be leaving for the beach. Woohoo! We found an absolutely fabulous outlet mall that I am going to use to lure all my friends down here (think Kate Spade...hmmm yeah). We also were able to score a skybox suite to an Astros game. I think Colby and Justin were pure heavenly bliss there. And (hopefully) the biggest news is that we put an offer on a house. We hope to hear news at any moment. I had hoped to know something definite before we had to leave, but we have to get back in town because Lauren and Anderson are coming! We are so excited to get to see them!

Somebody's 30...

and it's not me! Justin turned 30 and we've pretty much celebrated the whole weekend. On Saturday night we went to Como Steakhouse with family and friends and had a great time. Sunday we had little Ava's party to attend and Monday night we had steak again with the Curran's. Come to think of it all we've done is eat, but I had a good time doing it!
