Seriously....

Can this child get any cuter?
We have the almost exact same shot of Kinsley in this outfit.
I apologize for the lack of pictures in this post. Justin was gone for four days this week and at some points I was just trying to survive. Luckily, we had our activities to keep us busy. I also had a friend who was single "momming" it this week too. Last night we went swimming at their house, then took all five kids out to dinner. Little did we know (being moms of kids 5 and under) that it was the high schools homecoming last night. So in addition to have 5 kids under 5, we also had to contend with a restaurant packed with teenagers. Luckily we survived. For the most part.

I did manage to get the oldest two their Halloween costumes this week. Kinsley wanted to be Minnie Mouse and Colby wanted Woody from Toy Story. Here is a sneak peek.
Hadley sacked out on the couch.
She woke up and watched some SEC football, of course.
Colby's newest obsession. Watching Thomas the Train videos on YouTube.

This week

As I type this, we have tractor songs playing on the computer too so forgive me if I slip in a John Deere in this post. Wow the weeks go by so fast! With school, activities, volunteering, errands and trying to drop the last of my Hadley weight, by bedtime we are all zonked. Speaking of bedtime, Hadley is sleeping through the night! Woohoo! Now for some pictures from this week.

The Girls
Okay the story of these next few pictures. We were playing outside the other day and Kinsley decided that her and Colby would go on a date to the movies. So she proceeded to teach Colby that the guy gets out of the car first, opens the umbrella (apparently it was raining) and then goes and get the girl (who incidentally was driving). It was so cute. I hope Colby remembers this when he starts dating and I hope Kinsley makes sure her boyfriends treat her with the same respect. Who am I kidding, she'll demand it.

getting the door
When Colby got to choose what they played, he loaded her in the tractor trailer. Imagine that.
Silly Hadley
Golf Cart Rides
On Saturday, we went to the Woodlands and let the kids ride the Water Taxi. Colby loved it!

Kinsley was tired but still had fun.

Hadley hanging in her gym.
Our weekly photo shoot before church.

The youngest Brennan's.
I have no idea why everything I type is being underlined.
Her smiles just melt my heart.
Check out the rolls!

Labor Day Weekend

Okay first things first...How about them dawgs!!!! What a great start to the season! Our little Hadley was all decked out in her maroon on Saturday. Isn't she an adorable little mascot?!
We have been busy this Labor Day weekend. Either we have been entertaining friends or have had friends entertaining us. It's been busy but so fun. Here is Hadley in her sundress waiting to go to a potluck this afternoon.
Some pictures before church yesterday. I got the whole family but me. For some reason my eyes are closed in every single picture that Justin takes.
I know I'm her mother but I just can't imagine her being any cuter!
Sisterly love
One day maybe all three will be looking and smiling at the same time.

Kindergarten, bike rides, and of course my baby

It was a big week at the Brennan household. The major event was Kinsley starting kindergarten. She was really excited the first day and has had a good first week. She made a friend in her class. They were both wearing Twinkle Toes shoes and I guess they bonded over fashion. She also has a boy "friend" that she is just swooning over. Justin is just thrilled at that thought. Apparently she is a big helper to her teacher too. I'm anxious to see how next week goes!

Breakfast on her 1st day
It was early even by our standards.
Posing before school

I was more nervous than she was.
On the trails, walking to school.
This week Colby also started his Sports Skills class at Little Gym. It was 10 boys ages 3 and 4, and it was wild. Colby had a blast the whole time. I knew he was outgoing but even he surprised me with how he talked to his instructors and the other kids. When he got out of class, I asked him if he made any friends. He said, "Yeah, but my new friends were shy to me and that little guy wasn't strong enough to ride my tractor." I wish I could be a fly on the wall in that class.

For Colby's birthday, we got him a bike. Yesterday he was riding it and fell off. Even though he wasn't crying, Justin convinced him rubbing grass on his boo boo would help take the sting out.

Look at that concentration
He also got to ride his new scooter from Mimi and Pops.
No day outside would be complete without working on his tractor.
Of course I had to include some pictures of our Hadley Sophia.

I could just pinch these cheeks all day!

We're Baaaack!

Wow, so it's been a while since I updated the blog. We've been busy the past few weeks. First Mimi came to stay with us for a week and helped out a lot. Kinsley had VBS at a local "mega church" that week too. Then we went to Mississippi for two weeks and had a blast. We went to the square and saw the trains, Chuck E Cheese, bowled, swam, and visited lots of friends. There are tons of pics from that week but since Mimi took them, I thought I would post ones she hasn't seen.

While at Mimi's, Colby turned 3 and had the Brennan traditional pancakes with a candle for breakfast.
Then we had a Thomas the Train party with all our MS friends. The cake was fabulous!
Look at that effort!
It's taking a while to get back into the swing of things now. Kinsley started dance this week and we met her Kindergarten teacher last night. She starts school bright and early Monday morning! Colby will start his Sports Skills class at Little Gym this week and pre-school next week. As for Hadley, she is growing like a weed! I love the chubby baby stage! She went to the doctor yesterday for her 2 month appointment. Her stats were: weight 11.2 lbs. height 22 inches. She's in the 50th percentile on weight and 40th in height.

Isn't she a doll?!
Big sis loves to get in the picture with her.
Getting Colby to pose is a totally different story.
Wild Child!
Cute in polka dots

She finally likes her swing!
