Long time no blog....

I realized yesterday that it had been a good while since I've updated the blog. With traveling for Thanksgiving and getting the house decorated for Christmas (which took entirely too long), we've been quite busy. Our house is in full on Christmas mode now. As I type this, the kids are watching Rudolph and I've got my last batch of cookies in the oven for the much anticipated (by Justin), slightly dreaded (by me) cookie exchange tomorrow night. I'll let you know how we do Lauren. Here are some pics of our time in Mississippi. I hope to have some pictures of the Christmas decorations soon for you Mom.

Disney, Chocolate, and getting in the Christmas spirit

Last week, we took the kids to see Disney on Ice. We all had a blast, I might have actually had more fun than kids. The show was amazing and those little characters are very talented on ice skates.
The beginning of the show with Mickey and friends.
The kids with their goodies courtesy of the "twenties" they got from Papaw.

Cinderella and Prince Charming
Kinsley got to bring Chocolate home last week. Chocolate is her preschool class's "dog."
Here they are playing outside.
Fortunately she remembered to feed him while he was here.
Before church last week
It is nearly impossible for me to get a good picture of them together anymore.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in our house.
Decorating Kinsley's tree.
Dancing with their Santa hats on. Notice Colby's is completely covering his head.

Waiting for the popcorn for movie night.
All ready for the Thomas the Train movie.

Going Private

So I have decided to make the blog private mainly because of some weird activity from my Feedjit account. So if you want to keep reading just leave a comment with your email address or email me and let me know....all 3 of you.

Shopping, Texas football, and Biking riding

For a Halloween treat, Nanny sent the kids Target gift cards so they could go shopping. Here is a picture of them with their loot. Colby picked out a "remote" control dog and Kinsley picked out a, ah hem, rather tan baby.
We are truly blessed to have made a lot of new friends really fast here in Texas. Friday night we went to dinner with friends and then took in our first Texas high school football game. It was over the top!
Colby was so into the game.
The stadium was crazy big, especially for a high school.
The mini-cheerleaders checking out the real ones.
Kinsley has decided she wants to learn to ride her bike without training wheels. Saturday she practiced without them but I think we are a long way from her riding by herself.

Halloween Weekend

Mimi and Pops came into town to spend Halloween with us and we had a great time with them. Here are some pictures from the weekend.

Getting ready to Trick or Treat
Kinsley really got into trick or treating this year. She was so cute going up to the doors and talking to the neighbors.
Colby had fun for about 20 minutes. He ducked out early to give out candy with the men.
After carving the pumpkin.
Everyone looks CRAZY!
Pops designed the face and Justin carved it out.

Colby was not about to touch the "guts."
Silly Faces
Halloween day was absolutely beautiful so we headed down to Kemah Boardwalk and played. We ate lunch at the Aquarium Restaurant. The kids were in love with the fish.
